Increasing interconnections to fulfill electrical demand has led to increase in transient stability criterion leading to requirement of high ended computation features causing failure as blackouts or some limitations in existing models for Transient Stability Assessment (TSA). CNN-LSTM hybrid model has been proposed to improve the accuracy mapping the non-linear relationship between input and output data in possible minimum time. This manuscript proposes the hybrid CNN-LSTM model for transient stability predictions with voltage phasor complex plane. It possesses the features of both CNN and LSTM, therefore, improves the TSA ability with enhanced performance. The proposed hybrid model is applied on IEEE 39-bus New England Power System to authenticate its accuracy. And also, a comparison between proposed hybrid model and other one is included indicating the efficacy of the proposed model.
